Global Engineering Futures initially formed to bring together engineering organisations and early-career engineers via a Global Engineering Network consisting of representatives from engineering organisations from across the world.

Most professional engineering institutions (PEIs) have a focus committee targeted at improving opportunities for early-career engineers - albeit from different engineering disciplines. These committees often operate in silos depending on their engineering discipline. However, to achieve a sustainable future, all engineering disciplines need to work together.

Participation is free and open to all representatives from any professional engineering institute globally. In the event, we will discuss:

  • Challenges early-career engineers face,

  • Synergies that exist between disciplines,

  • Opportunities that each PEI has led for early-career engineers,

  • A plan of action to ensure future collaboration.
