The Global Engineering Network.

We built a network to help you succeed.

The impetus behind creating the Global Engineering Network was to tear down the barriers hindering global collaboration and innovation. We want to make it easier for you to find partnerships with potential to drive your projects and careers forward.

Who? Engineers.

The Global Engineering Network (GEN) is a multidisciplinary network of early-career engineers from across the world. Its purpose is to ensure that all, irrespective of their background, can achieve their highest potential in a sustainable engineering landscape.

What? A network to boost potential.

As well as targeting diversity and inclusion, the network also highlights advancement in sustainable engineering and entrepreneurship.

Where? Everywhere.

By showcasing high achieving individuals, as well as bringing together a diverse set of mindsets, we can inspire others to achieve our vision across the world.

Reasons to apply.

Being part of GEN will not only look great on your CV, but will offer unique opportunities to meet with potential sponsors, collaborators and employers. You'll get early-bird entry to GEF events providing great prospects for personal development through our collaborative research projects. Having an active role in running the network itself will enable you to help fight for cause greater than ourselves.

The network provides a great opportunity for you to take real ownership of both your work and organisation. GEN is jointly run by both GEF and it's members, meaning that you have a say in how your organisation is run. You also get to design and conduct your own research into sustainable solutions, allowing you to solve the problems that matter most to you.

Finally, you will undergo a personal development journey as you work towards building Global Engineering Futures’ initiatives which will actively aid in creating a sustainable future.
